Froot Farms is a fully licensed and insured landscaper in Central Florida. Froot Farms specializes in Florida-Friendly and edible landscape design and installation. Though we focus primarily on foodscapes, food forest, permaculture and other edible systems we also do high-end ornamental and native installations as well.
Our typical work area is focused on the Greater Orlando area, but encompasses the entire state of Florida for larger installation projects.
In most situations we charge $50 an hour for consultations to go assess site conditions, take photos of the property and evaluate goals. Though, if you have your site and planting location assessed we can plant a few larger trees on a case-by-case basis.
We can also offer full 2D/3D design services starting at $2,500.
Small-Scale food forests typically range from $5,000-20,000. Though projects can certainly come under or over that range based upon several factors including the size of trees installed, the soil amendments needed, access to materials (i.e. utilizing ChipDrop or arborist mulch to save on the cost of mulch), etc.
We currently don’t offer long-term maintenance services. Installation rates are as follows:

Things To Remember
Before Install:
Mark Utilities
It’s always best to call before you dig. Marking of any underground utility in the proposed planting area is crucial to prevent issues. Additionally, all irrigation lines should be marked as well. For assistance marking utilities call Sunshine 811.
Froot Farms is not responsible for cut, damaged, or broken irrigation pipes or utility wires.
Test Irrigation
Check your irrigation coverage to ensure that your sprinklers, bubblers and other systems both adequately cover your new plantings and are in 100% working order. Broken irrigation systems can cause substantial issues to a new planting’s success.
If you don’t currently have irrigation systems in place, please consider getting a system installed. We can surely make recommendations on what products will work best with the particular trees you’re installing, the space they’re in, etc. once we have our plan developed.
Watering Needs
New plantings require much more significant watering than established trees. Therefore, irrigation systems alone are generally not sufficient. The first 1-3 months that a tree is establishing in its new home are crucial for its success. Deep watering with a garden hose is necessary to ensure that a plant survives and thrives in its new home. Ensure your hoses reach all plants and that you can regularly attend to watering them as necessary while they’re establishing.
