Froot Farms is a family-owned and operated edible plant nursery, apiary and composting facility proudly based in East Orlando (Christmas, FL).
Froot Farms is also a fully licensed and insured landscape design and installation company with a focus on food forest and Florida-Friendly installations. Our installation radius includes the entire state of Florida for larger projects. We’re also able to source many plants including palms, natives, ornamentals and of course fruit bearing plants. The Birkett family has been farming since the 1980s and have contiguously grown plants on our current 115-acre parcels since 1999. Our primary business is palms and we’ve been fortunate to have made a living and reputation selling ornamental plants for decades.
Though, we began our journey of establishing ourselves as the go-to nursery for perennial edible plants including tropical fruit trees and nut trees with a focus on highly-desirable and incredibly rare plants and specimen trees such as fruit bearing specimen in 2020. Our nursery services retail and wholesale customers.
In addition to our wide assortment of plants we sell ornamental and plastic nursery pots, soil, compost produced on our farm (bagged material and larger volume available), honey from our apiary (availability may vary) and a variety of other products. We’re also a proud reseller of Jay Scotts fiberglass planters, which transform any landscape into a more elegant and modern space.
